Just got word from the SCTA that the world finals meet was just cancelled due to deep water on the track. Guess we will have to try again next year.

Test Run to Qualify Car. This was a new car to SCTA and USFRA and we were directed not to exceed 200 MPH. Dave Royce drove the car to 200 MPH on the speedometer but because of the shaved tires, the car actually “only” ran 194+. This was accomplished with only safety equipment, a mild tune and exhaust. Not to mention, the run was made at altitude of 5140 ft! The car now can run on the long course in OCT!! 200+++. We also got a chance today to assist the Top Gear Gang with their CTSV and ZR1. We ran faster in the mile by 14 mph than they were able to in the ZR1. What a fun day!!!
