In 2004, Jay Alvarez, then working for Lund Cadillac, assembled
a team of coworkers to go after World Speed Record. Instead of
taking the easy route and putting the biggest V8 engine
available in the all new CTS, they went with a V6. In the end,
they were rewarded with a engine that produced over a 1000hp and
a new world record.
In 2008, Lund Cadillac wanted to go back to salt again. Lund
knew the only way to make sure that it was a successful journey
was to have Jay's new company Driven Performance oversee the
build. Take a look at what the Driven/Lund team were able to do
this time.
